For owners of landscape companies
You know AI and automation should be helping. Let's cut through the noise and get you started.
Rising costs, finding and keeping good help, customers who pay slow, a sales process that runs through you. That is where AI and automation pay first in a landscape company. I have spent 15 years in this industry, from the crew to sales leadership. I will show you what to turn on in the software you already pay for, what to skip, and I will build what is missing.
You leave the call with a one-page list: turn this on, skip that, build this.
- 15+ years in landscaping, crew to sales leadership
- Works with the software you already run
- Month to month. No long contracts.

Where it pays first
Four problems every landscape owner knows. Most companies start with one. We pick it together on the call.
Protect your margin
“Fuel, wages and materials went up this year. Most renewals did not.”
- Renewal prices set account by account, from each property's own hours and margin, before the letters go out.
- Jobs running over estimate caught while the week can still be saved, not at month end.
- Vendor invoices read by AI and checked against what you paid last time, so price creep shows up.
A typical first win: Each renewing account with its own price, from what it cost you to serve last season.
How we work on itFind, keep and grow good help
“Good help is hard to find and harder to keep. When a crew leader leaves, accounts can go too.”
- Job ads and interview questions rewritten for the people you want. AI drafts, you decide.
- A first week for new hires that runs without you in the room.
- Reviews, check-ins and stay interviews on a calendar, so you hear about problems before the notice.
- Raises, promotions and incentive pay tied to numbers a crew leader can see.
A typical first win: A check-in rhythm with every crew leader, and one page on what earns the next step.
How we work on itGet paid on time
“The work is done and invoiced. Then the customer goes quiet.”
- An early warning on clients who are paying slower than they used to.
- Reminders that go out on their own, before anyone has to make the awkward call.
- Finished work billed before the ticket closes, not when someone remembers.
A typical first win: A weekly list of who owes you, with the three calls to make.
How we work on itWin the right work, and keep it
“Estimates get ghosted, follow-up depends on you, and enhancements go unsold.”
- An ideal-client profile your team can use to say yes or no to a lead.
- A discovery routine and follow-up that do not depend on anyone's memory. AI drafts, a person sends.
- The enhancement list: accounts with room for more, from what similar properties already buy.
- A renewal calendar that starts 90 days out, so cancellations stop being a surprise.
A typical first win: Every open proposal with a next step and an owner, by Monday.
How we work on itWhy owners call
I have done the job.
15 years in the landscape industry, from the field crew to sales leadership, and a B.S. in Landscape Contracting from Penn State. I know what works on a crew in July, and what only works in a demo.
I am on your side of the table.
I am not selling you a platform, and I take no referral fees from software vendors. I will tell you what your software already does, what is worth paying for, and when to skip AI altogether.
I can build it.
When the tool does not exist, I build it on your own data, in your own accounts, and keep it running.
How we start
- 1
A free 30-minute call.
Tell me what is eating your week. Within two business days you get a one-page list: what to turn on in the software you already pay for, what to skip, and the one thing worth building. It is yours either way.
- 2
The Game Plan.
The first month of working together: weekly sessions, the two or three moves that pay first, the first one set up with your team, and a written 90-day plan. $1,250, one month, paid once. Stop after the month if you want; the plan is yours.
- 3
Then it is your call.
Keep me in your corner twice a month with Advisory, have me build what is missing, or run the plan yourselves.
The Game Plan is $1,250 · one month, paid once, invoiced after the first session. Advisory after that is $1,250 a month, month to month. What the Game Plan covers
When the tool does not exist, we build it
Some of what owners need is not in any software yet. These are the systems we build for it: they run every week from the software you already run, and we keep them running for a flat monthly fee.

Questions
We are not tech people. Is this for us?
Yes. Most owners I talk to are not. If something needs a tech person to run it, it is the wrong tool for a landscape company, and the list will say so.
Do we have to change software?
No. We start with the software you already run. The first line on a list is often a feature you already pay for and have not turned on.
Which software do you work with?
For advice, any: Aspire, LMN, Jobber, SingleOps, ServiceTitan, QuickBooks or spreadsheets. Each build needs a particular way in. Today the three reporting builds run on Aspire through its API, and our written reply says plainly what runs on yours before anything starts. First Minute works with any website.
Is our data safe?
Anything we build runs in your own accounts, and nothing of yours is stored on our systems.
What does it cost?
The call and the list are free. The Game Plan is $1,250 for one month, paid once and invoiced after the first session: if it isn't worth it to you, you owe nothing. Advisory is $1,250 a month after that, month to month, only if you want it. Builds are a flat monthly fee, quoted in writing once we know which one fits; the ready-made builds start with 30 days free on your own data.
What size of company is this for?
Landscape companies between $1M and $10M in revenue, where the owner still runs operations and sales. Below $1M, the free Audit and the newsletter are the better place to start.
Not sure where to start? That is what the call is for.
