Managed build · Operations · Crews and jobs

The most important numbers for your ops team, delivered right to their inbox.

Last week's performance meets this week's plan in one easy-to-read snapshot: what each crew got done, hours against estimate, what is scheduled next and what needs attention. Your production meetings run on what happened and what is scheduled, not on who remembers to bring it up.

Founder pricing for our first 3 clients: a lower rate locked for 12 months, in exchange for a monthly feedback call for the first three months and an anonymized write-up of the results. 3 of 3 seats left.

See what it looks like

A one-minute walk-through, then the report as it arrives and the same week as it reads on a phone. Yours carries your logo and your own numbers.

Page one of a Last Week, Next Week report: four headline numbers, three things that matter this week, next week's hours by day, and a table of account managers' hours against estimate.
Last Week, Next Week, page one: last week's performance and next week's plan, in a single snapshot.
A crew leader's weekly e-mail on a phone: tickets completed, hours against estimate and visit-note coverage, then last week's visits one by one.
Each crew leader gets their own week, on their phone. No dollar figures.
The daily ops digest on a phone: today's tickets and hours, jobs with no crew leader yet, and changes since yesterday.
The daily ops digest, built to control the chaos: today's work, what changed, what still needs a look.

What lands in your inbox

Built from your own system, on a server in your own account that we run for you. Reports are emailed on a schedule; nothing here depends on anyone opening a dashboard.

1

Last Week, Next Week

Last week by account manager and by crew leader: scheduled vs completed, hours vs estimate, the tickets that need attention. One owner roll-up, plus one page for each account manager and each crew leader, emailed ahead of your production meeting.

2

Daily ops digest

What is scheduled today, what changed since yesterday, what is unstaffed. Short, every weekday morning, to operations and the account managers.

3

Schedule change alerts

An email to the account manager and operations once a day, early in the afternoon by default, listing every ticket that got a date or moved since the last check, with what was and what is now.

4

Work in progress, weekly

Open projects with billed, earned and remaining, so the install side is never a surprise at month end.

Coming next

Not built yet. We will say so plainly when that changes.

  • Client confirmations. A schedule confirmation before the visit and a work-completed note after it, with photos and notes from the ticket when your platform carries them.
  • GPS and clock check. Clock-ins reconciled against truck GPS, turning punch questions into questions to ask, never accusations. Needs a telematics connection.

How it is built

Ground Truth is built new by SecondOrder: a weekly production report, per-crew-leader scorecards, a daily ops digest, schedule-change alerts and a WIP schedule.

During the trial, every report is checked against the numbers you already trust, before you rely on it.

You configure, we run

One short setup sheet:

  • · Who receives each report and on which morning
  • · Crew leader and account manager roster
  • · Your logo on every PDF
  • · Which per-person pages go out: account manager, crew leader, or both

Who it fits

Owners who are the de facto COO, with 3 to 15 crews and a system that already holds tickets and timesheets.

How it is priced

Trial

Thirty days on your own data, free. It starts with an account signup, which includes your billing details; nothing is charged during the 30 days, and nothing at all if you cancel before they end. On one setup call you open a small cloud account in your company's name and give us view-only access to your system; within three days the first versions of your own reports and your baseline arrive by email.

Monthly

One flat monthly fee, month to month, no setup fee. It pays for the running, the checks and the updates, never for access to your platform or its data. The server sits in a cloud account in your name, billed to you directly, about the price of a lunch a month: you own it, we manage it, and your credentials stay yours to revoke.

Every month, for Ground Truth

  • Every report runs on schedule, and we check every run so you do not have to.
  • Roster changes, threshold tuning and definitions adjusted as the season changes.
  • Updates the week your platform changes something, before you notice.

If you leave

Month to month after the trial: cancel with 30 days' notice and no cancellation fee; service runs to the end of your last paid month. The server and your data stay yours, and we remove our access. If you would rather keep the reports running yourselves, you can buy a permanent license to the code and its documentation.

Paying three, six or twelve months up front adds extras, up to two months free. See the pay-ahead options

Which Audit statements this moves

  • 5. Actual hours vs estimate is reviewed weekly by job and by crew leader, from the system, not from memory.
  • 6. Every crew leader could tell you, in one sentence, what a great week looks like in their role, and it would match what you'd say.
  • 7. When someone is underperforming they hear it within the week from their direct lead, not at the end of the season.
  • 8. There is a standing weekly leadership meeting with the same three numbers on the table every time.
